Description
If you want to use dried herbs, you can always buy them. However, they will not be as effective as if you had harvested and dried them yourself. If you dry your own herbs then you will know exactly how old they are. However, you should never store your dried herbs for six to eight months and then still expect a high level of effectiveness. However, if you only want to cook with them, or if a lesser effect is sufficient for you, you can store dried herbs for up to a year before throwing them away. When drying your own herbs, be sure to label everything properly - many herbs look relatively the same after drying.
