Sunday, November 22, 2009 (OXFORD) Oxford Community Center. Oxford Rd. Scribes of the Shore, the celebration of the Authors of the Eastern Shore. Seven authors will be in attendance who will lecture and sign their books. Authors include Bill Shepard, waterman Don Parks, photographer Jim Clark, Civil War historian Rev. Jay Bunting, ART DRIVES ON THE DELMARVA author Fran Severn, cookbook authors of RECIPES AND RECOLLECTIONS. Refreshments will be served. Free and open to the public.
Saturday, Dec 5, 2009 (OXFORD) Our Christmas on the Creek old-fashioned Christmas celebration includes an author signing at Mystery Loves Company with Bill Shepard author of THE SALADIN AFFAIR ($16.95), and J.M.E. Flowers, the Columbia MD author of SEARCHING FOR BLUE MERCURY ($15.95). There will also be events all over town including an auction, caroling, events at the Fire House and the Oxford Community Center, and special displays at the Oxford Museum.
Thursday, Dec 17 (WASHINGTON DC) 7:00 pm. Washington Academy of Science, 1200 New York Avenue. "Science is Murder" evening with Katherine Neville, Donna Andrews, John French, & Louis Goldstone, as well as experts from the Academy in the fields of science and medicine.
